As representatives of ZakynthosAPP, we recently went on the Sunset Half-Day Tour to Myzithres with Wine Tasting, and we were truly impressed with the experience. This romantic cruise was the perfect way to end a day in Zakynthos, with stunning views of the sunset over the Myzithres (Keri sea rocks) and the chance to relax and enjoy the crystal clear waters of Marathonisi island.
The tour started with a pickup from our accommodation, where we headed to the small port of Agios Sostis. Our first stop was Cameo Island, where we had the opportunity to admire the view and take some amazing photos. After that, we set sail to Marathonisi Island, a naturally turtle-shaped island that offered us the chance to swim, snorkel, or soak in the sun.
The highlight of the tour was the visit to the Keri Caves, where we had the chance to admire the breathtaking scenery carved by time, tide, and wind. Our captain was experienced in navigating the small-sized caves and passing right through the famous Keri rock arch (Kamara), and we were able to swim and snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and admire the sea life.
Finally, we reached Myzithres Beach, where we were able to witness the most imposing landscape of Zakynthos and enjoy a stunning sunset over the towering white rocks. The contrast of the crystal clear blue-green waters and the white color of the rocks and the sand of the beach was truly amazing. The tour ended with a free glass of wine or soft drink, making the sunset even more special.
Overall, we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Zakynthos who wants to experience a romantic sunset and relax in the beautiful surroundings of the Ionian Sea.
